Christmas Concert: Our Christmas Concert will take place on Thursday 21stDecember at 12:30pm in the Parish Hall. Each classroom will showcase their talents with a variety of songs, plays, music and much more.
Outgoing Board of Management: As Principal and on behalf of all our school community; I wish to thank the outgoing members of our school’s B.O.M. for the interest and energy they have shown over this past four years.
B.O.M. Parent Rep Nominee Meeting: A meeting will take place on Mon 13th November @7:30pm in the school to select our Parent’s Rep nominees. We encourage all parents to attend this important meeting.
Sacrament Dates: Confirmations – Sunday March 3rd @ 1pm – St. Mary’s Church, Convoy. First Holy Communion – Saturday April 27th @11am – St. Patrick’s Church, Drumkeen.
Child Safeguarding Statement: Our Child Safeguarding Statement was reviewed at our recent Board of Management meeting. It is now on our school website to view.
Anti – Bullying Policy: Our Anti-Bullying Policy was recently reviewed and adopted, it is now on our school website to view.
Parent Teacher Meetings: Our parent teacher meetings will be held on Wednesday November 22nd. School will close for all children at 2pm. The school bus will run as normal at 2pm also. Bookings will be open on the Aladdin Connect App on a phased basis from Monday 13th November.
School Closure: Our school will be closed on Wednesday 13th December 2023 to facilitate staff training in the Primary Maths Curriculum.
Swimming & Ukulele: Swimming continues on Fridays and will end on Nov 24th, ukulele continues for Ms. King’s and Mr. McGlynn’s classroom each Thursday.
Nasal – Flu Vaccine: The nasal flu vaccine is available for pupils in senior infants. If you wish for your child to receive the vaccine; please return the consent forms.
Vision & Hearing Check: All junior infants will have their vision and hearing checks carried out on Dec 4th and 5th, parents are asked to complete and return questionnaires ASAP.
Drop off/Pick Up: We remind parents to use the one – way system, around the back of the hall and drop off when driving along the school wall or at the school gate. Please be mindful not to block the entrance to the back of the hall if parking at collection times.
