As we approach the final few weeks of this school term, we wish to advise you of the following events and important dates:

End of Year Reports & Booklists: These will be posted to all families on Wednesday June 15th, also included will be the list of class groups for the academic year 2022/23.

School Tours: Junior & Senior Infants: Glebe Gallery – June 2nd, Castle Adventure Farm – June 8th.  

Ms. King’s & Ms. Haughey/Ms. Browne’s: Glebe Gallery June 7th 2022

Ms. Lynch’s & Mr. McGlynn’s: Glebe Gallery June 9th 2022                                                         

Soccer: Boys & Girls took part in the Fran Field’s soccer tournament on June 1st, our tarmac league continues each Friday.

VEX Robotics: Pupils in sixth class took part in the Northwest Tournament in the Atlantic Technological University on June 1st.

Tag Rugby & Rounders: Our school competed recently in both Tag Rugby and Rounders against St. Mary’s N.S, Castlefin. Well done to all pupils.

Tables & Chairs: Our school will replace a number of tables and chairs during the summer holidays, these will be made available to anyone, free of charge. More information available by contacting the office.   

Active Week: We will hold our active week from June 13th – 17th, there will be activities on each day and our week will end with our annual Sport’s Day on Friday 17th June.

Car Boot Sale Monday 6th June: We thank parents and pupils for volunteering to help at our stall, if you wish to add your name; please contact the office. We encourage as many as possible to come along and support the event, if possible.

Sixth Class Graduation: We will hold a short graduation ceremony on Friday 17th June from 1:30pm – 2pm on the school yard. Parents of sixth class pupils are welcome to attend on the day. 

School Calerndar 2022/23: Our school calendar for next year has been finalised and a copy is attached. We will reopen on the Wednesday 31st August 2022.  

School Closure: School will be closed on Monday 6th June for the Bank Holiday and our school closes for the Summer Holidays on Thursday 23rd June at 12pm.
